  1. This driver is for use with SAPI compatible syntheisers
  2. installed on your system. Do not select this driver if you do not
  3. have a SAPI synthesiser.

  5. This driver is NOT SUPPORTED by Dolphin. If you attempt to use it
  6. you are doing so at your own risk. Dolphin will not provide support
  7. for it or any other Dolphin products used inconjunction with it.

  9. To enable the use of this driver with SAM, you must rename the
  10. SAPI.UCP file in this directory to SAPI.SIF
  11.  
  12. If you experience problems you can remove this driver by
  13. renaming the file back to SAPI.UCP or by deleting this directory.

  15. There are a number of problems with this driver:

  17. It has stabilility problems with some SAPI synthesisers. You may
  18. experience protection faults.
  19.  
  20. If you have more than one SAPI synthesiser installed, you will get
  21. a dialog box asking you to choose a SAPI engine to use. This dialog
  22. box lacks a proper keyboard interface and will not speak.

  24. You may be unable to change voice - and therefore language.
